Every secret garden keeps a quiet truth
With less than 40 feet on the cul de sac funneling outward to the south and ending with an expansive 240-degree lake view, this home called to us to create a narrative that unfolds. We begin with a secret garden, a giardino segretto introducing a calming reflecting pool that leads your eye along the home's axis. Repose is inevitable.

This family vacation home, designed and built as new construction, embraces flexible living—comfortable for two but easily expanding when loved ones arrive. Eschewing a formal living room, the kitchen, dining and family “flop” space are combined by linking the furniture back to back with a custom console, and symmetrical corner jib doors allow for formality when desired. A true collaboration across disciplines: the landscape and site formed the plan, the interior spaces spoke to the exterior, and custom architectural details, furniture, fountains and views were all touched by the combined team.
