Time moves by mood, not by hour
For a couple from Australia, this home invites them to live, dine and play in the open air, with minimal interior spaces and no interior hallways. Working with Thomas Hamel, we found many worldly influences, from collected furnishings to bird-shaped post caps that conjure totem sculptures. The mood created is somewhat Asian in feel yet seamlessly blends into the tropical setting. All rough edges have been honed. There is nothing to stop the energy flow.

Landscape Collaboration
Designed as a destination to gather for a family spread out across the globe, this new-construction home offers a place to pause—a sanctuary for respite and reconnection. A worldly design vocabulary anchors it: Moroccan-tiled fireplaces, Indian-inspired stone grilles, sculptural stairs. Lime-based paints lend the walls a chalky softness and sense of age. In close collaboration with designer Thomas Hamel, the process became a mutual exchange of ideas and respect. The result is a home that feels timeless, borderless and personal. Time slows down here.
