When art imitates life…
A home that lives like a gallery—where everyday rituals unfold alongside paintings, ceramics and sculpture. Sunlight moves across walls like a slow exhibition, and the tropical setting softens the edges. Here, the architecture strikes a careful balance: serene enough to let the collection sing, warm enough to feel lived in. A place where art and life are inseparable.

Custom furniture. Hardy limestone used inside and out. An outdoor entry featuring stucco textured with a fork, mimicking the facade of a 19th century building Clem once took notice of in Chicago. Set on a windswept oceanfront, the home is cradled by native oaks and a resilient coastal hammock. Great care was taken to mitigate the feel of walking up stairs. And so, the courtyard ascends gently—its layered terraces transforming the required elevation into a graceful procession between house and ocean.
